Hello ESMS Students, Families & Staff,
I have been busy cataloguing new books for when we are all back at school.  I have also started our library inventory, and have noticed some series that are missing a book or books that are well loved and need replacing.  If you have any books that you would like to recommend for our library, please send me an e-mail so that I can consider adding them to our collection.
I have also been working on creating a new collection in 'Destiny Discover' through our library borrowing platform, on resources that you can use while working from home.  There are some great sites that might help you through that Math, ELA, Social Studies or Science assignment.  Not to mention some general interest articles, videos and e-books.  Check them out!

I hope you have all been taking advantage of the nicer weather and getting outside to enjoy some fresh air.
I took a day trip out to the cabin to get a change of scenery and have enjoyed sitting outside by the fire. Oh yeah, and I also learned how to play backgammon.  Have you learned a new skill or game?  I would love to hear from you, feel free to drop me an e-mail.
Thinking of you all and wishing you well!  Stay safe.

 Covid-19 Reading Survival Guide
Hello ESMS Students & Families!
I am sure the combination of living in isolation and mother nature not wanting to release the grips of winter, has got us all feeling a little cabin fever.  But what better way to escape reality and pick up a book or magazine.
While our library is closed and you may have exhausted all of your reading material at home, I have found a few webpages that you may enjoy for some online reading.
www.getepic.com/ (please contact Mrs. Stewart by e-mail, [email protected] to be given a student access code)
choices.scholastic.com/  student password:  timefrog429

You may also contact Gaynor Family Regional Library at (204) 482-3522 and they will be able to help set up access to online e-books through an app called 'Libby'.

Missing you all and hope this finds you all well!
